RightRep Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the RightRep app ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and password (hashed by Firebase Authentication) when you create an account.
• Location data: GPS points while you record a walk or run. Routes are stored so you can view your activity history. Location is only collected while recording is active (including with the screen locked, if you allow it).
• Photos and videos: images/videos you choose to capture or upload for meal logging and machine-form analysis.
• Health and fitness data: metrics derived from your activities and analyses (distances, gait/posture measurements, meal records) stored in your account.
• Purchase data: subscription status and transaction identifiers processed by the App Store and RevenueCat to unlock paid features.
• Crash and diagnostics data: anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics used to fix bugs.
• Usage analytics: usage statistics collected through Google Analytics for Firebase (see "Usage analytics" below).
• AI processing: photos/videos you submit for analysis are sent to an AI service through our server proxy solely to generate your analysis. This content is not used to train AI models.

Public feed

If you explicitly choose to publish a session video or a photo to the public feed, that media, your display name, and an optional caption are uploaded to Firebase (Cloud Storage and Firestore) and become visible to anyone using the App. You can delete your own posts at any time from the feed. Nothing is published unless you choose to publish it.

How we use data

Your data is used to provide the App's features: your activity history, analyses, plan entitlements, account management, and to keep the App working correctly. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Usage analytics

The App collects usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase — for example, which screens and features you use (workouts, runs, meal logging, feed posts, lessons) along with simple summary metrics about them (such as a workout's duration or distance), and purchase events. Events are associated with a pseudonymous identifier assigned by Firebase and, while you are signed in, with your account identifier and subscription plan. This data is used solely to understand which features are used and to improve the App. It is never used for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Usage analytics is on by default. You can turn it off at any time in the App's Settings under "Share usage analytics". When it is off, the App tells Firebase to stop collecting analytics information from your device.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage, Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase) and, for purchases, in Apple App Store / RevenueCat systems.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App's settings (Settings → Account → Delete account), without the App via the account deletion page, or by contacting us at the email below.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/UK GDPR and Brazil's LGPD), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us below to exercise them.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
